Frequently asked questions
Are these fonts free?
They're open-source Google Fonts, free for commercial use via @import. For a wider commercial font library plus matching templates, check an asset-library subscription.
Can I preview CJK text?
These are Latin typefaces, so the preview uses English samples; CJK characters fall back to a system font. For CJK pairing, pick dedicated CJK fonts.
How is this different from just browsing Google Fonts?
Google Fonts is the library — you still have to judge which two faces work together, which is tiring. Shape Cat hands you ready 'display heading + readable body' pairs with a live preview, so you skip the trial and error, then copies the @import and font-family code. Shape Cat makes the pairing decision; Google Fonts is the source — they work best together.
